# Vault Roles & Permissions (Coming 2025)

### 🧑‍⚖️ Vault Roles & Permissions *(Coming 2025)*

**Assign specific access and responsibilities — without giving up control.**

Today, Vaults are simple: one signer (you) + one AI Co-Signer.

But for teams, businesses, and crypto-native organizations, the future of Vaults will include full **role-based access control** — giving you granular permission management while maintaining on-chain security.

***

#### 🔜 What’s Coming

With Vault Roles & Permissions, you’ll be able to:

* ✅ Assign **roles** like:
  * **Viewer** (can see, but not sign)
  * **Initiator** (can create transactions, but not approve them)
  * **Approver** (must approve for the transaction to proceed)
* ✅ Create Vaults for DAOs, teams, and organizations
* ✅ Manage responsibilities without compromising security

***

#### 💼 Why It Matters

Right now, every signer in a Vault has equal access.\
That works great for individuals — but not for teams.

With roles, you’ll be able to:

* Keep oversight while delegating tasks
* Prevent unauthorized actions
* Provide compliance-friendly access control
* Safely share Vault functionality without losing ownership

***

> Roles & Permissions will be part of the **Foundation Plan**, currently in development.

Stay tuned for updates — this is one of the most powerful upgrades coming to Vaults.
