Create a Vault

Your Vault is where everything happens — securely and under your full control.
Think of it like your personal crypto safe. It’s where you’ll store your tokens, stake, swap, and eventually even connect to dApps or your bank (coming 2025). And best of all? It’s seedless, multi-signature, and always yours.
You can create as many Vaults as you like — one for trading, one for saving, one for staking — whatever fits your strategy.
You’ll find the button on your dashboard or Vaults page. This starts the process.
Choose a name that helps you stay organized. Examples: “Main Vault,” “Staking ETH,” “USDC Treasury,” “Trading Fund”
You’ll be asked to select either:
Free Vault → Perfect for personal use and basic DeFi tools
Pro Vault → Ideal for users with a Professional Plan who want tax efficiency and legal protection
If you’re not sure, start Free — you can always create a Pro Vault later.
This is what makes Locked Money so secure.
By default, you’re the first signer. But you can add additional wallets (hardware wallets, trusted devices, etc.) to help approve transactions.
Free Vaults: You can customize your signer list
Pro Vaults: You’ll also have an Asset Manager signer added for asset management and protection
Even if one signer is compromised, your funds stay protected.
Double-check your details:
Vault name
Plan type (Free or Pro)
Signer configuration
Then click Continue to finalize.
You’ll be asked to either:
Pay Now → Confirm using ETH for gas
Pay Later → Finalize when you're ready
Once deployed, you’ll see your Vault appear in the dashboard.
From here, you can:
Transfer crypto into it
Swap tokens
Stake LMY or LP tokens
View transaction history
And much more coming soon
