Quickstart
Start with connecting your wallet. The most commonly used wallets are MetaMask and Rabby. To use the platform a wallet needs to be installed in the browser. Please follow instructions from the wallet extension you choose. When you have set up your wallet, press Connect and choose the wallet type you are connecting with.
Select Free or Professional Plan
One of the main benefits of using Locked.money is that it is creating a seperate tax entity that you operate your action in the vault under. This is highly recommended and you should press Go Professional to start the sign up process. The first step is to go through KYC - this is needed to pass regulatory requirement and to be able to handle automated tax reporting.
Create a vault
When signed up for an account, the next step is to create a vault. A vault is a type of account/container that can store and swap different crypto currencies and tokens.
Press "+ Create vault" to create a new vault
Enter a name for the vault
To secure your funds you can set rules that to use the funds you need to sign with more than one wallet. In case your wallet gets compromised, the attacker cannot steal funds as to do that they would need control of all wallets. You have the funds safe in your vault, and you can remove the compromised wallet and add a new waolet with the help of the second signer.
To create the vault, review the details and confirm either with gas by pressing PAY NOW, or if you have no eth in your wallet then select PAY LATER. Press Continue to create the vault.
